Description

  • Material: Natural stone — Marble, Cocoa Royale collection (Spain).
  • Finish: Tumbled (matte texture; softened, slightly aged edges).
  • Size(s) Available: 1″ × 2″ brick-style pieces, mounted on a 12″ × 12″ sheet (≈ 1 sq. ft per sheet).
  • Thickness: 3⁄8″ (~9.5 mm).
  • Application Ideas:
      • Accent walls (bathrooms, showers, feature panels)
      • Backsplashes where brick format and texture can be showcased
      • Decorative borders or insets among smoother tiles
      • Low-traffic floors or decorative flooring zones (if slip resistance is acceptable)
      • Fireplace surrounds or statement wall treatments
  • Style: Natural stone, brick mosaic, tumbled texture, warm brown/cocoa tones, rustic luxury, tactile finish, classic elegance.

Key Features

  • The tumbled finish adds a softened, tactile surface with slightly rounded edges, creating depth and hiding minor chips or imperfections better than polished stone.
  • Cocoa Royale’s rich chocolate-brown hues with marble veining deliver warmth and character in each sheet.
  • Brick mosaic layout (1×2 pieces) offers linear patterning, good for creating decorative detail without overwhelming scale.
  • Same level of thickness (~3⁄8″) gives it sufficient body for both wall and some floor uses (depending on slip & wear).

Care & Maintenance

  • Clean regularly with a soft cloth or mop and pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can damage natural marble.
  • Seal the marble upon installation and reseal periodically to maintain resistance to moisture and staining.
  • Grout lines should be sealed too, especially in wet zones.
  • Wipe up spills promptly, particularly of acidic substances, to prevent etching.
  • When using on floors, particularly in wet or heavy-traffic areas, confirm slip resistance; the tumbled finish gives better grip than polished marble, but caution is still needed.

The tile was just like the sample and looks great installed.
However, the price of the tile was deceptive, as the shipping costs were 50% of the listed price. When I called to verify, the man stated that the elevated shipping cost was to make up for the fact that their prices are lower than other companies. I paid it, but thought it was not the best practice.
