What is basketweave tile?
A mosaic pattern of paired rectangles that alternate direction, with a small square dot where they meet, so the surface looks woven. Ours are cut from real marble and mounted on mesh sheets.
Can marble basketweave go on a shower floor?
Yes. Choose a honed finish for grip, use a grout joint of 1/8 inch and seal after installation. The many grout lines give traction.
Honed or polished basketweave?
Honed (matte) for floors and showers; polished for backsplashes and feature walls where shine is wanted and feet are not.
How many sheets per square foot?
One 12x12 sheet covers about one square foot. Measure the area, add 10% and round up to whole sheets.
Does marble basketweave need sealing?
Yes. Natural stone is porous, so seal it after installation and re-seal every 1–2 years in wet areas. Use a non-acidic cleaner; vinegar and bleach etch marble.
How fast does it ship?
