Description

- Finish: Polished (high gloss, reflective) or Honed (matte, soft texture).
- Size(s) Available: Mosaic sheet nominally 12″ × 12″, with hexagon pieces tessellated to fill that sheet.
- Thickness: Approx. ⅜″ (~10 mm) — typical for marble mosaics of this scale.
- Application Ideas: Ideal for accent feature walls, backsplashes, shower walls, vanity walls, decorative panels, or low-traffic flooring in upscale residential or commercial settings. The hexagon pattern adds visual interest without overwhelming.
- Style: Hexagon mosaic, geometry, marble statuary, polished/honed finish, modern classic, clean veining.
Key Features
- Hexagon Pattern Impact: The repeating six-sided geometry gives richness and structure, allowing for an eye-catching pattern without being too busy.
- Finish Choice: Polished brings shine and light reflectivity; honed gives a more soothing, muted presence—good for softer atmospheres or light control.
- Material Elegance: Asian Statuary marble is prized for its clean white field and grey veining, offering a timeless and luxurious appearance.
Care & Maintenance
-
Installation Tips:
• Dry-lay a few tiles to check veining and tone across sheets.
• Use white or light thin-set mortar to avoid color discoloration.
• Keep grout joints narrow (e.g. ~1⁄16″ to 1⁄8″) for clean geometry and ease of maintenance. - Sealing: Seal prior to installation/grouting; once installation is done and grout cured, seal again to protect the stone from moisture and stains.
- Cleaning: Use pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaners and soft cloths. Avoid acidic or abrasive agents that can damage or dull the marble.
- Natural Variation: Expect variation in veining patterns, gray tone intensity, and texture from sheet to sheet—these variations are part of marble’s natural beauty. Inspect pieces before setting to ensure a cohesive look.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including crystalline silica (airborne particles of respirable size) in dust created during fabrication/installation if the product is dry cut/ground or pulverized, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer. p65warnings.ca.gov
