Description
Florita Thassos + White Carrara + Blue 5 3/4x12 Polished/Honed Marble Border
Florita Thassos + White Carrara + Blue 5 3/4x12 polished/honed marble border. A 5 3/4x12 border that carries the floral-star elements of the Florita pattern in white Thassos, gray-veined Carrara and blue marble. It frames the Florita mosaic or a field of plain white marble, adding a line of color at a wainscot, around a shower or across a foyer wall. It suits blue or white cabinets, polished nickel and white trim.
For walls: borders and accent strips in bathrooms, showers and foyers. Sold by the piece, about one linear foot each; order about 10% extra for cuts. Match the finish to the field tile. Seal after installation and wipe up acidic spills; marble etches. Order a sample to see the actual lot before you buy. In stock and ships in 2–3 business days.
This tile is a decorative border piece from the Florita pattern within the Thassos White Collection. It is designed to act as an accent strip or frame in tile installations, complementing the Florita mosaic tile.
Key Features
- Material: Natural Marble (Greek Thassos White, Italian White Carrara, and a contrasting Blue Marble).
- Design: A border tile featuring the floral/star elements of the Florita pattern, specifically sized and shaped for accent applications.
- Finish Options: Available in Polished for a glossy, light-reflecting surface, and Honed for a soft, matte look.
- Dimensions: 5 ¾″ x 12″ border tile/sheet.
- Coverage: Approximately 1 linear foot (Ln. Ft.) per piece.
- Applications: Ideal as a decorative border or accent strip in wall applications such as bathrooms, showers, and foyers. Can be used to frame field tile or create visual contrast in wainscoting and feature walls.
- Style: Provides a luxury trim and statement detail, blending the classic elegance of white marble with a vibrant blue accent for a classic yet bold aesthetic.
Care & Maintenance
- Sealing: Due to the natural marble material, sealing is highly recommended after installation and periodically thereafter to prevent staining.
- Cleaning: Use a mild, pH-neutral stone-safe cleaner; avoid abrasive pads and harsh, acidic products, which can etch or dull the marble.
- Spills: Wipe up spills, especially colored or acidic liquids, immediately to protect the surface integrity.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including crystalline silica (airborne particles of respirable size) in dust created during fabrication/installation if the product is dry cut/ground or pulverized, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer. p65warnings.ca.gov
