Description
The Thassos White Collection offers the sophisticated Thassos White Opus Marble Mosaic Tile, crafted from premium Celestial White marble (a member of the Thassos/White marble family). This 12″ x 12″ sheet features a complex geometric "Opus" pattern, sometimes referred to as a "mini-Versailles" look. Available in both Polished (high-gloss) and Honed (soft matte) finishes, this mosaic adds a classic, pattern-rich texture and luminous elegance to walls and floors.
Key Features
- Material: Genuine Celestial White marble, a bright white stone from the Thassos/White marble group, sourced from Greece.
- Design: A geometric "Opus" or "mini-Versailles" mosaic pattern mounted on a 12″ x 12″ mesh sheet for easy installation.
- Finish Options: Polished for a brilliant, reflective surface or Honed for a softer, understated matte appearance.
- Applications: Ideal for interior walls, kitchen backsplashes, shower walls, feature panels, and is suitable for residential and light commercial flooring.
- Aesthetic: A sophisticated, pattern-rich texture combined with the pure white tone of Thassos marble, creating a bright, luxurious, and timeless effect.
Why Choose This Mosaic Tile?
- Patterned Richness – The Opus pattern introduces a classic, intricate, and captivating geometric design that offers a high-end, custom look to any space.
- Floor & Wall Versatility – Unlike many mosaics, this tile is rated for use on both walls and floors, offering consistency across different surfaces.
- Pure White Luxury – The exceptional clarity and brightness of the Celestial White marble enhances ambient light and provides a clean, elegant foundation for any room.
- Finish Flexibility – Choose the reflective shine of polished marble to maximize brightness or the soft texture of honed for low-glare sophistication.
Care Instructions
- Clean regularly using only a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop.
- Do not use acidic or abrasive cleaners (like vinegar or lemon juice) as they will etch or dull the marble’s finish.
- Wipe up spills promptly—particularly in high-moisture or food preparation areas—to prevent potential staining or surface damage.
- Apply a high-quality penetrating sealer upon installation and reapply periodically to protect the finish and maintain the marble's natural beauty and durability.
