Marble and brass mosaic tile: Carrara, Calacatta, Thassos and Nero Marquina cut with inlaid brass strips, dots and borders on mesh sheets. The metal adds a warm line to the stone and ties a backsplash or shower wall to brass faucets, hardware and lighting. Patterns include herringbone, hexagon, picket, linear and geometric inlays in polished and honed finishes.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I use marble and brass tile?

Kitchen backsplashes, bathroom feature walls, shower accent walls, fireplace surrounds and bar fronts. Brass is best kept off wet floors where it would scratch and dull.

Will the brass tarnish?

Brass develops a warmer patina over time, especially in a shower. Many customers like that; if you prefer it bright, wipe with a brass polish occasionally and avoid acidic cleaners.

Does marble and brass tile need sealing?

Seal the marble as you would any stone; apply sealer to the stone only and wipe it off the metal.

How is it installed?

Set with white thinset like any mesh mosaic, and use an unsanded grout so the brass is not scratched during grouting.

Do you sell samples?

Yes. Most items have a sample listing linked from the product page. Colors and glaze variation look different on every screen, so we recommend ordering samples before you buy by the box.
