Calacatta Prestige (Asian Statuary) Lantern 12x12 Polished/Honed Mosaic Tile
Calacatta Prestige (Asian Statuary) lantern 12x12 polished/honed mosaic tile. Curved lantern (arabesque) shapes in white marble with delicate gray veining, mesh-mounted on 12x12 sheets that cover about 1 sq ft. The rounded outlines soften a wall and give it a repeating, flowing pattern. It pairs with white or soft gray cabinets, polished nickel and arched mirrors. Use it as a full-height backsplash or a shower accent wall.
Made for walls: backsplashes, feature walls, shower surrounds, accent panels and fireplaces. Polished highlights the curves; honed gives a calmer, matte look. Grout follows every curve, so choose a soft white or light gray grout. Seal after grouting and wipe up acidic spills; marble etches. Order a sample to see the actual lot before you buy. In stock and ships in 2–3 business days.
The Calacatta Prestige Collection captures the essence of refined elegance, featuring premium white marble with delicate veining and a luminous, soft-white backdrop. This collection offers a perfect balance of sophistication and versatility, making it an ideal choice for walls, floors, countertops, and feature spaces. Whether enhancing a modern aesthetic or a classic design, Calacatta Prestige adds a timeless, serene charm to any interior.

Key Features
- Distinct Lantern / Arabesque Pattern: The mosaic’s “Lantern” shape offers elegant repeating forms that add visual flow and sophistication to walls or accent areas.
- High-quality Marble Veining: Gray veining over a crisp white field gives a timeless, high-end look typical of Asian Statuary marble.
- Finish Options for Mood Control: Polished finish brings brightness and reflection; honed finish provides subtlety and a softer tactile quality.
Care & Maintenance
- Installation Tips: Dry lay the mosaic to inspect the alignment of the lantern shapes and consistency of veining. Use white thin-set or a neutral/light colored mortar to avoid affecting marble’s bright tones. Maintain narrow, consistent grout joints (≈1⁄16″) for crisp pattern definition.
- Sealing: Apply a high-quality penetrating stone sealer prior to grouting; after installation and once grout cures, seal again to reduce moisture penetration and staining risk.
- Cleaning: Clean regularly with pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaners. Avoid acidic or harsh cleaners that can etch or damage marble. Soft cloths or non-scratch sponges are best.
- Natural Variation: Expect some variation in veining, shade, and pattern between sheets and within individual tiles—this is characteristic of natural stone and adds to its beauty. Inspect material before installation for visual harmony.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including crystalline silica (airborne particles of respirable size) in dust created during fabrication/installation if the product is dry cut/ground or pulverized, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer. p65warnings.ca.gov
