Description
Calacatta Gold 3x12 Polished/Honed Subway Tile
Calacatta Gold 3x12 polished/honed subway tile. A long, slim subway in white Italian marble with gray and gold veining stretching along each piece. The 3x12 proportion draws the eye sideways, which helps a short backsplash or narrow bathroom wall look wider. It fits modern kitchens with slab doors, brushed gold hardware and white oak. Run it horizontally in a one-third offset, or vertically on a shower wall.
Rated for floors and walls: backsplashes, shower walls, tub surrounds and wainscots. Honed is the more forgiving finish near water and food; polished gives a crisp, bright wall. Seal after grouting and clean with pH-neutral products only; marble etches. Order a sample to see the actual lot before you buy. In stock and ships in 2–3 business days.
The Calacatta Gold Collection embodies luxury and sophistication, celebrating the timeless beauty of premium Italian marble. Defined by a luminous white background and elegant gold-and-grey veining, this collection brings warmth, depth, and refined opulence to interior spaces. Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas, Calacatta Gold combines durability with classic beauty, making it an ideal choice for both modern and traditional interiors. Offered across field tiles, mosaics, and trim/molding pieces, the collection makes it easy to create a cohesive, polished aesthetic throughout a space.
Key Features

– Honed — smooth, matte finish for a softer, understated look
• Formats Available: Field tiles, mosaics, and trim/molding pieces (nominal 2″ × 12″ trim profile)
• Thickness: Varies by format (trim pieces approximately ¾″, providing architectural depth without visual bulk)

Why Choose the Calacatta Gold Collection?
• Architectural Finish – Trim and molding pieces create clean, elegant transitions where tile installations end, adding a sense of completeness and premium craftsmanship.
• Cohesive Marble Design – Natural veining coordinates seamlessly across field tiles, mosaics, and trim formats.
• Finish Flexibility – Choose polished for luminous impact or honed for subtle sophistication, depending on the desired visual weight.
• Timeless Luxury – Italian marble delivers enduring beauty and classic appeal across both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Care & Maintenance
• Installation Tips: Dry-fit pieces prior to installation to ensure consistent veining and colour alignment. Use marble-approved adhesives or thin-set suitable for the piece being installed to prevent slippage and ensure proper bonding.
• Sealing: Seal prior to grouting and again after installation is complete and grout has cured to protect against moisture, staining, and edge wear.
• Cleaning: Use pH-neutral, non-abrasive stone cleaners with soft cloths or sponges. Avoid acidic or abrasive products that may etch or dull the marble surface.
• Natural Variation: Variations in veining, tone, and pattern are inherent to natural marble and contribute to its unique character. Inspect pieces before installation to ensure visual continuity.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including crystalline silica (airborne particles of respirable size) in dust created during fabrication/installation if the product is dry cut/ground or pulverized, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer. p65warnings.ca.gov

Customer Reviews
The quality is excellent and the tile is beautiful.
Used for a client’s custom kitchen. Hung 4x12 in herringbone for feature wall. What a Showstopper! Arrived well crated and is excellent quality. Had extra so we tiled a bath wall too! Hung in subway/bond. Highly recommend.
